Two assasin skill questions
hey guys a got a couple questions for ya. Im sure they are simple enough but its always bothered me.....
1. when using a zealous mod why is it you dont receive +1 Energy when in a mob? ex: 5 or 6 monsters you use a skill that hits all foes and you only get 2 +1's.
2. if Shadow form negates all physical attacks how to grasping chaos and darkness charge the skill fear me?
again maybe this is a goofy question but its always confused me how they charge these skills while not hitting me.

1. You get +1 for each actual strike with your weapon. If you're in a middle of six enemies, and you use [death blossom], you'll see a bunch of pretty yellow numbers, but they all came from the fact that your daggers hit your target exactly two times. As a result, you'll get exactly two energy from the zealous mod.
2. You build adrenaline from hitting enemies, but you also gain it, albeit more slowly, from taking damage. See adrenaline. [fear me] is a four adrenaline skill, so you're probably seeing them use it when they're down to about 20% health?

so with death blossom (which is the skill m using for solo) i only receive the +2 E for the foe i am targeting correct?
as for fear me the grasping in tombs usually spam that after a particular skill they use. i cant remember it off the top of the head.

if you hit more than one mob with DB then youll get 1e per one you hit, you wont get a total amount only 1 per.
adrenalin can be charged by taking damage or from other skills, graspings use the skill trankle showed.

graspings also use "To the limit!" which grants them 1 adrenaline per foe in earshot (in your case 1)

as a matter of fact thats what im using. It seems to work pretty good. If you have a better build for solo dagger farmin im all ears.

ok ladies and gents, i was staring at this build for like 10 minutes wondering if i should reply. Well i couldnt help myself. we were discussing the energy gain using death blossom in a mob.
I went back to Chaos plains and got a double group of 18 piled up and used DB over and over and each time a struck for +1 _+1 =total +2. again this isnt a post to pound this ad nauseum i just dont understand why im not getting the +1+1 x 18 if ya know what im saying.
If someone could run out and simply do this is the Raptor cave youll see what im talking about. i tried it there as well. only +1__+1 was achieved.
meh whatever, i guess the OCD meds need to be adjusted again.

this is because death blossom does not actually hit multiple targets. it only hits one target twice, and each hit will trigger point blank AoE damage on targets around it. since you are only hitting twice, you only get 2x +1 energy.

Just to clarify i dont get +1 for eeach enemy. I get +1 for the targeted fo only. +1 twice because its a dual attack. Otherwise you wouldnt need much E management at all. 7-12 foes +2 each would be more then enough.

You get + 1 energy for EACH ATTACK. [Death Blossom] Says you deal + 20-40-47 damage to your target and 20-40-47 damage to each adjacent foe. You DO NOT hit the adjacent foes. Hence, no energy from zealous.
